* For Mini Sessions: You’ll choose your favorite images during the session, and I’ll guide you so it feels easy and even fun. If you’d prefer extra time to review at home, a private gallery is available for $200. I’ll send you all the best color corrected images from our session, with no blinks, duplicates, or test shots.

Spill the Details

Our Boston branding session begins with a call to map out your goals and needs, and to plan how the photos will serve your brand. This might include launching a new business, refreshing your website, updating your social media, creating promotional materials, or all of the above. Together, we’ll talk through style, wardrobe ideas, locations, product photos if needed, and potential dates so you feel fully prepared before you even step in front of the camera.

Lock It In

To officially reserve your Boston branding photo session, you’ll sign a simple contract and pay a 75% deposit. Once that’s complete, your spot is confirmed. The remaining 25% is due the day before your session.

This is where we bring your brand to life. I’ll guide you through a mix of portraits, candid moments, and lifestyle setups that highlight not just you, but also your work, services, team, and products.

Get the Goods

  • Half-Day or Full-Day Sessions: You’ll receive a gallery link with the strongest photos from the shoot within 5 days. Once you make your selections, retouched images will be delivered within 3 business days.

  • Mini Sessions: We’ll sit down together right after the session to choose your favorites. If you’d prefer more time, I can prepare a private gallery with all the best color corrected shots (no blinks or duplicates) for an additional $200. Retouched images will be delivered within 3 business days of your selections.

Once your photos are ready, you’ll have everything at your fingertips: portraits, lifestyle shots, team photos, or product images. You’ll be ready to update your website, refresh your socials, and share your brand anywhere it needs to shine.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

I completely understand that life happens. Deposits and session fees are non-refundable, but I’m happy to offer a one-time reschedule to a new date and time that works for both of us if you give at least 48 hours’ notice.

What session package is right for me?

Mini Sessions are 90 minutes and take place in the studio with a white or black background. They are ideal if you need updated headshots and half-body branding photos in a variety of poses. For example, someone with a podcast might use these images for a podcast cover, social media, or press features.

Half-Day Sessions (4 hours on location) and Full-Day Sessions (8 hours on location) usually highlight both you and your business. These sessions can also include team photos and product images. They are perfect for small businesses and creative entrepreneurs such as artists working in their studios, yoga or Pilates instructors in their spaces, boutique owners, jewelry or clothing designers, real estate professionals, or law firms. Anyone who needs a complete set of visuals to represent their brand will benefit from these longer sessions.

What should I wear for my Boston branding session?

The key is to choose clothing that reflects your brand and the work you do. Solid colors usually photograph best and help keep the focus on you, but the style should match your profession. A chef might wear a crisp jacket, a yoga instructor may choose fitted activewear, and an artist could wear something comfortable but creative.

We will also coordinate your wardrobe with the location so your look either complements or stands out from the space. Avoid busy patterns, neon tones, or clothing with large logos that can distract from your message. Neutrals, jewel tones, and soft shades often work beautifully. Bring a few options on hangers so they stay neat and ready to wear, and I will help you choose what fits your brand best.

If you or your team wear uniforms, that works perfectly too. We will style the session around them so the photos feel polished and professional. For women, small and simple jewelry is best so it does not distract from the overall look.

Do I need professional hair and makeup for my Boston branding session?

For women, professional hair and makeup are recommended unless you feel confident doing your own. The goal is to look polished, natural, and still like yourself. For men, makeup is not necessary, but a fresh haircut and a well-groomed beard or shave can make a big difference. To keep shine under control, I provide powder and blotting sheets. If your session includes team photos, encourage everyone to arrive well-groomed so the images feel consistent and professional.

Do you help with posing?

Absolutely. You do not need to practice in the mirror or worry about what to do with your hands. I will guide you through poses, angles, and setups that feel natural and on-brand, whether that means working at your desk, showing your product, collaborating with your team, or simply looking confident in front of the camera.

 

How do I book a branding session?

The best way to book your Boston branding photo session is by cell, either call or text. If I do not respond right away, I am most likely in the middle of a shoot, but I will get back to you as soon as I am free. You are also welcome to email me if that is easier for you.

How long does a branding session last?

In addition to shooting time, we also use extra time to set up lighting, finalize wardrobe, and review the location so everything runs smoothly and feels tailored to your Boston branding session.

 

Will you post my branding photos on social media or your website?

Most of my Boston branding clients love being featured on social media or in my portfolio, but your privacy always comes first. If you prefer to keep your photos private, just let me know and I will gladly respect that.

 

Are appointments required for a Boston branding session?

Yes, all sessions are by appointment. Each Boston branding session is carefully planned in advance so we can design it around your goals, locations, and style. This way you get the most personalized experience possible..

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

For your convenience, I accept all major credit cards, as well as Venmo and Zelle.

 

What are the booking and cancellation policies for a Boston branding session?

To reserve your date, a signed contract and a 75% deposit of the session fee are required. Your spot is officially booked once both are received. The remaining 25% is due the day before your session.

What happens if it rains the day of the shoot?

If your session is outdoors and the weather does not cooperate, we will reschedule to a new date and time that works for both of us. 

 

What happens if I am running late?

The best thing you can do is keep me updated in real time. If we are in the studio and I do not have another client immediately after you, I will do my best to adjust. For outdoor sessions, timing is trickier since they are scheduled around the best natural light. Arriving late may reduce your shooting time and could mean missing out on the best light for your photos.

Do I own the rights to my branding photos?

You will have full rights to use your images for personal use and self-promotion, including social media, websites, marketing materials, and holiday cards. What you cannot do is sell them for profit or give them to a third party for commercial use.

 

Do you travel outside of Boston for branding sessions?

Yes! I am happy to travel for branding sessions outside of Boston. Depending on the location, a travel fee may apply.

 

How often should I update my branding photos?

It is best to update your branding photos at least every two years. If your brand evolves, your look changes, or you launch a new product or service, updating sooner ensures your photos always reflect where your brand is today.

 

How are the final branding images delivered?

You will receive a private link to download your images in high-resolution JPG format. The link will remain active for 30 days, so be sure to save and back up your branding photos in a safe place.

Do you keep the photos, and can I order more later?

You can order additional branding photos for up to 30 days after your session. After that, I clear space in my archive to make room for new shoots. If you think you might want extras, it is best to decide within that timeframe so nothing gets missed.
